We started in Quito so that conceptual art from around the world can reach the spaces where decisions are made, and so that every work is cared for along the way.
Our criteria
The idea first. The name after.
We look for works that don't stop at the eye. Works that make you ask a new question.
A track record matters, but it can't stand in for the strength of an idea. That is why the fund can bring together emerging and established practices without making fame the main criterion.
We study the context of each work, its material language, its conservation and the relationship it can build with an institutional space. We never choose a work to fill a wall. We choose it to start a conversation.

Conceptual art changes what a space is able to think.
A conceptual work is a structure for looking again, and differently, at what seemed familiar.
Daleki Art exists so that those structures leave the predictable places and enter the rooms, offices, institutions and spaces where a city's everyday life takes shape.
Our work is to make that encounter possible and to care for it from beginning to end.

- What is Daleki Art?
- Daleki Art is a conceptual art movement and a curatorial fund. It connects works by emerging and established artists with companies and institutions that support culture in Quito and show those works in their spaces for a season.
- How does Daleki Art choose a work?
- We look at the strength of the idea, the consistency of the practice, the relationship between the work and its context, its conservation and the conversation it can open outside the traditional art circuit.
- Which works make up Quito 2026?
- Quito 2026 is the first stage of Daleki Art's curatorial program. It brings together six works from the fund and sets the starting point for new institutional activations.
- How can an organization take part?
- Through cultural sponsorship. Daleki Art studies the space, proposes a curatorial selection, coordinates the installation and stays with the work for a season of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.
- Does Daleki Art sell works from the fund?
- Yes. Works from the fund can be acquired. Beyond the institutional program, where they spend seasons with companies and institutions, we talk with anyone who wants to add a piece to their collection. Write to us and we will share the story and availability of the work you have in mind.
