Glossary of a museum without a building

We picture a museum with no doors and no opening hours. Its rooms are spread across offices, lobbies, libraries and boardrooms. Walking through it takes a new vocabulary.

Fund

The collection that grows with every trip. It is never shown complete in any one place; it exists spread out.

Room

Any space that decides to live with a work. A room can have a meeting table at its center.

Season

The time a work lives in a room: three, six, nine or twelve months. After that it moves on.

Cultural sponsorship

The way a company or institution sustains the movement. It supports a certified cultural proposal and, in return, art becomes part of its daily life.

Care

Everything around the work that keeps it alive: transport, installation, condition reports and follow-up.

Movement

The sum of everything above. People, works and spaces that believe conceptual art belongs where decisions are made.
